Truth Jihad Radio Sat. 8/14/10, 5-7 pm Central, American Freedom Radio (archived here.) Call-in number: (402) 237-2525 or (402) AFR-252, or post your questions to my Facebook page, where Ed Rynearson of RadioDuJour will be putting up hyperlinks about matters under discussion.
First hour: Adnan Oktar, "the most influential Muslim in the world" according to a Reuters poll. Writing under the pen name Harun Yahya, Adnan Oktar's books have sold many millions of copies worldwide. He is well known for his books and articles about Islam, and is the world's most prominent spokesperson for creationism.
Mr. Oktar is a supporter of the Cordoba House Islamic Center in New York City, which has been the subject of a manufactured controversy, and challenged the official version of 9/11 during his interview with me last year. He is widely considered a leading Muslim advocate of peace, coexistence and brotherhood between the faiths.
Second hour: Thomas E. Woods, author of the important new book Nullification: How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century. Dr. Woods (BA Harvard, Ph.D Columbia) is a historian and senior fellow at the Ludwig Von Mises Institute, and the author of ten books.
Nullification presents Thomas Jefferson's argument that states have the right to nullify unconstitutional federal laws by refusing to enforce them, or by actively impeding enforcement. Dr. Woods traces the hidden history of nullification-- a concept that was once widely accepted, but which has been gradually obscured by powerful people wielding bad arguments. Nullification is becoming increasingly prominent today as states nullify federal drug laws (by legalizing medical marijuana), the Real ID Act (by refusing to implement it), and Obamacare (by standing up for their citizens' rights to refuse to buy mandatory private health insurance). Since the Constitution explicitly lists what the federal government can do, and reserves everything else to the states and the people, it seems that the rogue regime occupying Washington D.C. has given us plenty to nullify!
Speaking of Constitutional issues...What would happen if a bunch of people generated a Constitutional test case by sending one dollar to Hamas, in violation of an unconstitutional law passed during the Clinton administration? We could argue that the federal government's prohibition against supporting Hamas, together with its mandate that all Americans pay taxes to support the Zionist regime occupying Palestine and committing genocide against the Palestinian people, violates the freedom of religion clause by establishing favoritism toward Zionist Judaism against Islam.
This prejudicial favoritism toward Zionism, and against Islam, cannot be explained by legitimate foreign policy considerations. Hamas has never attacked the USA, while Israel has repeatedly attacked us--in 1954, 1967, and most memorably on 9/11. The only explanation for the prohibition on supporting a harmless charitable group struggling against genocide, and the income tax mandate to support the perpetrators of that genocide, is that the preponderance of Jewish-Zionist power in the USA has forced our government to unconstitutionally favor Zionist Judaism over Islam.
Anybody out there willing to be one of one hundred people who would publicly send a dollar to Hamas? This would not be an actual violation of federal law, since unconstitutional laws, as Dr. Woods explains, are not laws at all.
