They are so trapped, they are unable of letting the wisdom and the spirit of the letter reach their heart and intellect; they can't even see nor wisdom nor spirit, they are the proverbial "can't see beyond the end of one's nose".

Of course, that is not peculiar to christians only. Some of my muslims too, lack understanding and perception, insist on interpreting the Quran according to the mood and conveniences of the day, insist on being ignorant of the context of revelation of a verse or a set of verses (in arabic : 'Asbaab an-Nuzool') when it is required...etc.

It has been reported that beloved prophet Muhammad said : "There will come a time upon the Ummat (ie: muslim community) when people will recite the Qur'an, but it will not go further than their throats (ie: it will not go into their hearts)".

So I kind of understand when some people are turned off by religion because of dislikable/crazy religious people. But then again, it boils down to the question : Are you looking for Truth and Inner-Enlightenment, or are you looking for people to fall in love with and a herd to belong to ?.

The other day, someone said to me : "you MO-slemz, your holly book tells you to KILL ALL non-MO-slemz !". I replied : "So ?. What's the problem ?. Too many white people anyway". I think I was joking. Maybe. I am not sure.Amin Abdullahhttps://www.youtube.com/user/MrSayonara7777/videosnoreply@blogger.com
